Congratulations to Meltdown Team Rider Kevin Konings on an Amazing Snowboard Season!

Huge props go out to Canadian Snowboarding Great Kevin Konings for taking the ‘You Look Good Riders Cup Tour’ title for an unprecedented second year in a row, as well as placing second at this year’s prestigious TELUS Triple Challenge Big Air contest.

Kevin is a long time member of the meltdown family, and represents us well as one of Canada’s top snowboarders. Kevin’s impressive performances have earned him a great snowboarding reputaion and landed him atop of podiums all winter long.

- 1st place at Meltdown’s Showdown at the Shop
- 1st place Big Air session at the Ron Jon Los Dos Amigos Contest
- 2009 You Look Good Series Champion
- 1st place at the You Look Good Tremblant stop
- 5th place at the You Look Good Mt. Seymour stop
- 4th place at the You Look Good Norquay stop
- 4th place at the You Look Good Blue Mountain stop (Qualified 1st)
- Best trick award at the Blue Mountain You Look Good with a backside 900 Melon
- 4th place at the Telus Triple Challenge Slopestyle (Qualified 1st)
- 2nd place at the Telus Triple Challenge Big Air
- Semi-Finalist at the Ride Shakedown

We would also like to congratulate the entire Meltdown Snowboard Team. Meltdown achieved their best team record to date by sweeping local competitions, capturing pro titles and appearing as finalists across Ontario. The team has set the bar high for next season, an impressive record in which Meltdown will undoubtedly improve upon.
